Founded in 1956, the Cinema Teatro Armida, located in the heart of Sorrento, has been for decades one of the historic venues of the International Film Meetings.
Over the years, it has welcomed directors, actors, producers, and critics from all over the world, helping to celebrate the seventh art and promote international cultural dialogue through the universal language of cinema.

Today, under the leadership of Maurizio Mastellone, a local entrepreneur and current owner, the cinema has been completely renovated and revitalized. Together with his family, Mastellone carries forward significant cultural projects: festivals, art competitions, musical and theatrical events, strengthening the theater’s role as a cornerstone of Sorrentine cultural life.
